It is a sad fact that many of us just don’t eat that well. Squeezing in the recommended number of fruits and vegetables and then balancing this with good meats or other forms of protein is time consuming and for most men, just plain boring.

Men like to eat man food. Not woman food, or rabbit food but man food, and this can often be high in fats and low in nutrients.

The obvious solution is to eat better. We all know that but it I not that realistic. We can say we will, but do we? By all means try to eat better, but also just get real. Add some of the good stuff the simple way by taking multivitamins every day.

There are hundreds of products on the market and so it can get a little confusing, but what you want is a multivitamin that made by someone who knows what they are doing because it is no good just throwing some ingredients together and expecting people to suddenly feel great. Vitamins need to be combined in the proper proportions because they play off one another, and certain vitamins help the body assimilate the other vitamins.

The other factor to take into account is the fact that to make a pill, the contents of the multivitamin and mineral is mixed with binder and chemicals.

The following suggestions are properly mixed, and use no binders, chemicals or additives:

Mega 2000 Multivitamins

A balance of calcium is necessary when taking magnesium. Magnesium is recognized as a mineral affecting muscle contraction, heart rhythm and nerve impulses. Research has shown that the ideal ratio between the two minerals is roughly two parts magnesium to one part calcium.

The most prolific mineral found in the human body, calcium is most widely recognized for its role in bones, aiding both strength and growth in bones and teeth. It has several other less well known functions, such as its involvement in the contraction and relaxation of muscles, the transmission of nerve impulses and the constriction and relaxation of the blood vessels. Vitamin D helps calcium absorption, so natural sources like sardines or whitebait which contain both calcium and vitamin D are effective natural sources.

This vitamin is actually a generic term for a group of vitamins. Because it is fat soluble it can be stored in various parts of your body, including the blood, skin, brain and liver. It is most widely known as an antioxidant where it acts to protect tissue from free radical damage. Vitamin E can also be used topically to soothe skin. Vitamin C has been found to help recycle vitamin E in your body. Taking the whole family of vitamin E together can also increase effectiveness.
